From November 25 to 29, 2024, the final meeting within the NAWA GTUA Education project took place at Wrocław University of Science and Technology (Wrocław, Poland). During the visit, participants had the opportunity to attend an extremely interesting and informative lecture on the topic "Sustainability: What Do We Have to Do Next?" by Professor Steve Evans, Director of the Cambridge University Centre for Sustainable Development. Professor Evans shared practical advice on actions that can be taken in the near future, as well as in the long term, to reduce the negative impact of global industry and implement the concept of an environmentally-friendly economy. Special attention during the project meetings within the NAWA GTUA Education project was given not only to the issues of "green" transformations and the social responsibility of Ukrainian universities in achieving sustainable development goals but also to the development of microcredentials in Ukraine’s higher education system.
A two-session seminar was organized for the project participants, conducted by Professor Ernst Kreutzer from Graz University of Technology (Austria). Additionally, Ivan Nazarov and Bohdan Morklianyk, Deputy Heads of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, held a productive round table discussion on the mechanisms for ensuring the quality of microcredentials. To conclude the meeting, Tetiana Hovorushchenko and Olha Pavlova presented all consortium participants with handmade New Year decorations, created by the team from Khmelnytskyi National University during a recent workshop as part of the NAWA GTUA Education project.
